.5 OZ OF HEROIN SEIZED BY APD:

Two people were arrested last night after a drug investigation led police to a vehicle that contained packaged heroin. Officers believe the drug was being sold at the motel.

 
Suspects: Matthew Casagrande and Neesha Watts were booked Friday night after Arcata Police searched their vehicle and found half an ounce of heroin.
 
The heroin was packaged for sale.
 
Officers are not releasing the name of the motel. They’ve had reports in the past about drug activity at the same location.
