STATUS CONFERENCE SET FOR ALEXANDER'S CASE WITH STATE BAR

Trial for Del Norte County District Attorney Jon Alexander moves to the bay; State BAR officials say they’ve set a status conference to be held in San Francisco December 17th at 9:30 a.m.
Officials say Alexander does not have to personally appear in court, he can deliver his testimony over the phone. This is a step forward in the case for the bar despite the set back involving key witness Michelle Taylor’s denial of testimony. Alexander faces misconduct charges involving Taylor after he allegedly spoke to her without her lawyer present, that’s just one of the 7 misconduct charges against him.
 
BAR officials say its likely that the court will set up a date for an oral argument.
