CR REORGANIZATION PLAN TO ELIMINATE JOBS

 EUREKA, CA- The College of the Redwoods is making a bold new move to help meet their accreditation needs by eliminating nearly 40 staff positions. President Kathy Smith talked about how some will be able to stay at the college but in a different position.
 
College of the Redwoods announced that in a move to address the school’s fiscal solvency and accreditation standards, the board of trustees unanimously approved a proposed reorganization plan last Tuesday. The plan is geared towards eliminating positions to ease the financial burden that's a factor in the school's “show cause “ accreditation status.
