REDWOOD COAST CELLULAR ROBBED; HCSO SEARCHES FOR ARMED SUSPECT

MCKINLEYVILLE -- The Humboldt County Sheriff's Office continues to search for an armed robber after he held-up employees and customers at Redwood Coast Cellular in McKinleyville on Tuesday.
 
This video was taken around 5:30 p.m. The call came in to the Sheriff's Office around 4:40 p.m.
 
Sheriff's deputies were on scene speaking to witnesses. Deputies tell us they are still actively investigating the case.
 
The Sheriff's Office tells us the suspect was armed with a silver handgun.
 
Few details are being released about the suspect at this time. Officials tell us the suspect is a male with a dark skin complexion. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a light gray or white sweatshirt, with dark or tan Carhartt pants.
 
No one was injured in the robbery.
