CHRISTMAS EVE SHOPPING

Eureka, CA- It’s the last day to shop for gifts and we certainly found some people out today doing just that.
 

Even on Christmas Eve, parking lots are full, and shopping carts are too.
 
As some shoppers take their precious little time, probably because they’ve got the day off; others, with list in hand are on a mission.
  

 
An estimated 17 million shoppers are expected to be out this Christmas Eve.

 
We spoke with the local Target manager off camera. He says they’ve had a big increase in sales over the week and heavy foot traffic. Which is a good sign for the economy.
 

 
Holiday sales this year are expected to top 586 billion dollars!
 

 
The most popular items… toys and electronics.  

 
So with bags in hand... and smiles on shoppers’ faces; Many will sleep good tonight knowing scratched everything off their list.
