POSSIBLE ARSON FIRE IN EUREKA CAUSES $15K IN PROPERTY DAMAGES

Eureka, CA- Police in Eureka are investigating what they say is a possible arson after the fire causes $15,000 of property damage.
It happened at an enclosed warehouse at 658 West Waterfront in Eureka around 5 this morning.
Humboldt bay fire responded to the scene after EPD was called to the hospital for a burn victim. The victim, turned suspect showed up at the hospital with burns to his face and hands.
Police say they have reason to believe that the suspect may have been stealing gas from the scene. How the fire started, they don’t know.
