Fiscal Cliff: Changes for Taxes and Food
Eureka, CA- Just four days left until the U.S. has to make a decision before we meet the “fiscal cliff.”
Today, top leaders met with president Obama to make some sort of deal to meet the January 1st deadline.
We all wish this wasn’t the economic reality of our nation, but it is.
An unexpected milking of shopper’s pockets could be added to the list. Locally, it costs about $3 for a gallon of milk but some experts say that by 2013, we'll be paying an upwards of $8 per gallon.
Cheri Keismer is retired and on a fixed income. She says being squeezed by the increase in food prices and taxes is already taking a toll on her finances.
