Fortuna, CA- Tonight a suspect identified, the armed robber who held a Best Western Hotel employee at gunpoint has been arrested.
Fortuna police have identified the suspect as 21-year-old Samuel Rogers, a Hydesville resident.
He was taken into custody after he was pulled over during a traffic stop. Rogers is suspected of robbing the Best Western in Fortuna, with a “sawed off” style shot gun.
Rogers has been booked into the Humboldt County jail for armed robbery, as well as additional drug related charges.
