Arcata -- A cat is rushed to the veterinarian hospital after being found shot with a blow dart.
The Arcata Police Department is investigating for animal cruelty after they received a report that an older male tabby cat was found Thursday by a good samaritan in the 2300 block of Baldwin Avenue.
Animal shelter officials say the cat's prognosis is good, and he's expected to make a full recovery.
The identity of the cat's owner is unknown.
