The 13th annual Bowl Of Beans fundraiser seemed to be a success tonight at the Arcata Community Center.
The fundraiser not only celebrates Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s birthday, but also benefits Arts in the Afternoon, and Arcata Elementary School.
Hand-made bowls were for sale. Many say the food was delicious.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony also took place as the city renamed Community Parkway to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway.
