The Coroner’s Office has identified the victim who drowned at Little Black Sand Beach on Sunday: 32-year-old Susan Kay archer of Shelter Cove. Officials say Archer was walking along the beach with her boyfriend and their dog when a wave came in and knocked her over. Both she and the dog were swept out in to the ocean. Archer’s body was recovered about 300 feet off shore by the Shelter Cove Ocean Rescue Team.  Archer’s boyfriend had lacerations on his stomach after the wave threw him against a rock. The dog returned to shore safely.
