POLICE: RESTAURANT BREAK-IN LEADS TO "ONE MAN PARTY", SUSPECT SEARCH

Police are searching through security footage for a suspect after he allegedly smashed his way into Abruzzi’s restaurant in Arcata. Arcata Police say the suspect used a brick from a nearby planter to smash his way in Tuesday morning. Police say he had a “one man party,” he took off his shoes, drank bottles of hard alcohol, and stashed some beers outside. They say it was likely the smashed glass that cut his feet, as there was blood inside the restaurant. Witnesses told police they saw what looked like a transient male hiding in the bushes with bottles of alcohol Tuesday morning outside Chase Bank.
