STABBING AT BAYSHORE MALL, 1 IN CUSTODY

Eureka Police are investigating a stabbing and attempted murder outside of the Bayshore Mall. Police say it happened during a fight just after 3 p.m. in the mall parking lot.  Details are scarce but investigators say two people were involved and tonight the suspect is in custody. The victim is reported to have received surgery for the injuries sustained during the fight. Police are not confirming the identities of the people involved but they do say there are witnesses to the crime, they are continuing to investigate.
