Ryan Floyd has entered not guilty pleas for 11 charges against him. Floyd faces 6 firearm related charges in the case, one for possession of an unlawful weapon, one for being a felon in possession of a firearm, and 4 separate counts of possession of ammunition by a convicted felon. The court tacked on a special allegation that he’s been convicted of a burglary that happened in 2003.  He also faces 5 drug possession charges for methamphetamine, marijuana, heroin, MDMA, and concentrated cannabis. Floyd was arrested by deputies with the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office on February 7th for a no bail felony warrant. He had been wanted after a pursuit near Dyerville Loop Road.
The firearm charges against him stem from the cache of more than 100 weapons found on his property. Floyd will be back in court in late march for an intervention hearing.
