EUREKA, CA- A grassroots movement is starting to improve the harbor at Woodly Island. The “Humboldt Bay Harbor Working Group” is getting the movement going with a lunch meeting on Wednesday, to get the community up to speed with information about the harbor. They’re also talking ideas for how the port can provide new local work opportunities and move forward economically and environmentally.  They say the coalition of community members has been building, and in order to continue, the publics input is needed. The group is inviting the public to a luncheon at the Samoa Cookhouse from noon till 1:30 Wednesday.
