PLANNED PARENTHOOD SAYS 'THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT' WITH RALLY
EUREKA -- Pro-choice took center stage with a rally at the Humboldt County Courthouse steps on Wednesday.
Vehicles drove by to show encouragement by honking their horns.
It's all an effort to show support for Six Rivers Planned Parenthood.
The group says they were so inspired by the "Pledge a Picket" campaign regarding the recent 40-days of life protest, they used today's rally to show that the community cares about what they're calling "reproductive rights and social justice".
Planned Parenthood shattered their fundraising goal of $12,000.
The organization says they were thrilled to see the outpouring of support with the fundraising efforts, and tell us they used Wednesday's rally as a way to say, 'thank you'.
