WAYNE BARE TRUCKING LAYS OFF EMPLOYMENT FORCE
Wayne Bare trucking company has laid-off its force of dozens of truckers. Employees say they’ve received two letters; the first suggesting the business may close, the second advising them of their benefits when their employment is terminated. Friday on the company’s online scheduling site for employees, truckers were left with a note thanking them for their service. The company had employed more than 60 truckers, a few have been retained to help drive the company’s fleet of semi’s to a site where they will be auctioned off. Owners of the Guintoli based company could not be reached for further comment this evening, but employees say they have been talking with the local employment development department about the sudden layoff.
