TRINIDAD EXTENDS SEARCH FOR NEXT CITY COUNCIL MEMBER

Trinidad, CA- The City of Trinidad has extended their search for their next city council member until Thursday.
the seat became available after Maria Bauman resigned her position after only two months of serving. City officials say they have two candidates interested, and by law both live within the city limits. The position is a 3-year, and 9-month term, and applications will now be due by 5pm tomorrow. If interested, you can pick up an application at Trinidad city hall at 409 Trinity Street.
In the end council members will have the final decision, but not all council members have to agree. City officials say just a simple majority is needed.
