DEAD FEMALE FOUND IN TRAILER, BURNED BEYOND RECOGNITION

CRESCENT CITY, CA- A dead body was found in a trailer in Crescent City, after it burned down to the ground on Saturday night.
The Del Norte County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that the body is a female, but the cause of death is still under investigation.
The fire call came in around 10:30pm that a camp trailer on Dakota Street in Crescent City was fully engulfed in flames. After Crescent City Fire, and Crescent Fire Protection District put the fire out they found a burned body inside.
Law enforcement says the body is burned beyond recognition and that DNA will have to be sent out to further identify the body.
