PRINTERS AND SCANNER, AMONG OTHER ITEMS FOUND AT TRANSIENT CAMP
Arcata, CA- Transient camps are being cleaned out today in Arcata. Arcata Police, the California Conservation Corps, and Cal Trans are teaming up to clear an illegal site in Valley West.
They're pulling bikes, scanners, and computer printers among other items. Arcata Police say it's about 20 yards of trash, and that much of these items are believed to be stolen.
The area is owned by Cal Trans, but by the end of the year will be transferred to the city that hopes to turn it into a park.
