The Santa Rosa Catholic Diocese issued a statement apologizing and asking anyone who might have been a victim of sexual assault by a former Eureka priest to come forward. Patrick McCabe served at Saint Bernard's parish in Eureka from 1983-85. McCabe is awaiting extradition to Ireland where he faces child molestation charges.
