OXYCONTIN ROBBERIES INCREASING IN THE LAST FEW MONTHS
The oxycontin robber might have struck again. Employees are saying they think it's the same guy. News channel 3's Matt Mendes is following this story.
One, two, three, and now the fourth time the armed oxycontin robber has gotten away.
An employee at Redwood Pharmacy who came face to face with the robber says her description of the man matched the description from pharmacies previously hit. She says he had the same blonde hair, looks and demeanor. But police cannot confirm it's the same guy.
"He wasn't super extremely nice. but when I looked at him in the eyes, he looked like he felt bad. He wasn't very scared but he was nervous but he didn't look like he wanted to hurt anybody. He just wanted the oxycontin and he wanted to go as fast as possible."
But getting that oxycontin came at a price. The robber brandished a gun.
"He kind of held it like this... he said 'give me all your oxycontin and I'll be out of here."
A day later that pharmacy is back up and running, but the fear from the heist is keeping them on their toes.
"When I first saw him come in... I couldn't believe it was happening."
