EUREKA- An agreement has been reached in litigation between the McKinleyville Community Services District (MCSD) and Humboldt County.

The Humboldt County Board of Supervisors met Tuesday to discuss a settlement with MCSD.

The district filed a lawsuit against Humboldt County in response to the 2010 Housing Element.

They believed it allotted too many housing units to the district and would severely impact its services to McKinleyville residents.

The MCSD signed the agreement with the county Wednesday.
