Apartment manager busted for drugs in Eureka
EUREKA - A manager at an apartment complex in Eureka was arrested after law enforcement found a large amount of illegal drugs and alleged evidence of sales.
Taken into custody was 41-year old Tasha Jantz. Monday morning just after 7, the Humboldt County Drug Task Force along with EPD’S POP Team served a search warrant near the 800 block of H Street after public complaints of drug trafficking.
A search of the residence and two vehicles, lead authorities to find fifty eight grams of methamphetamine, fifty grams of heroin, drug paraphernalia, scales, counterfeit currency and prescription medication without a prescription.
Jantz was booked into the Humboldt County Jail on a long list of charges.
This is the second time in a week law enforcement has been called to the same apartment building owned by Floyd and Betty Squires and the 161st time in the last year.
