ARCATA- An employee was assaulted by a man with a knife after asking him to leave the business early Thursday morning.
According to the Arcata Police Department, 52-year-old Arthur McFadden was asked to leave The Jambalaya for being two drunk. When he was asked to leave he allegedly pulled out a knife and assaulted an employee. The employee escaped without an injury, but his shirt was cut.
McFadden fled on foot, but was arrested blocks away for assault with a deadly weapon.
