Arcata police arrest man and woman connected to sexual assaults of a minor

ARCATA- Two adults are facing sexual assault charges against a minor by the Arcata Police Department. Police have made two arrests following a report that a man and woman had sexually assaulted a juvenile.

Police arrested 50-year-old Kathleen Arbizu Conrad in Crescent City Wednesday without incident. Conrad was released Thursday on bail. John Andrew Wiesendanger, 53, from Eureka was arrested Friday for committing lewd acts with a minor and was released the next day on bail.
