Attempted robbery occurs at same Eureka store that was robbed day before

EUREKA- The Eureka convenience store that was robbed on Wednesday was the scene of an attempted robbery on Thursday night.

The Eureka Police Department received a call from an employee from Pat’s Market in Eureka before 7 p.m. on Thursday.  The employee stated a man came up to the register with his hands in his sweatshirt, and demanded money.  Police say the employee then pushed the man, and he ran out the door.  Authorities do not know if this attempted robbery on Thursday is connected to the robbery on Wednesday at this time.

The suspect is described as being a white male, short in height, with a thin to medium build, and was wearing a black jacket or sweatshirt.  If you have any information, you are asked to call the Eureka Police Department at (707) 441-4060.
