DINSMORE  - A construction worker building a cabin for a Dinsmore man was allegedly assaulted multiple times with a hatchet.

Authorities are looking for 60-year old Harry Robert Schultz.

Sheriff’s deputies say the victim reported he was a friend of the suspect for five years and was hired to construct a 2-story cabin on property off Bear Creek Road. While they were sharing breakfast this past Tuesday morning, Schultz, for unknown reasons, struck the victim with the blunt end of a hatchet three times on the back side of his head. A friend took the victim to a local health clinic for treatment. Schultz has gone missing.

He’s described as a white, male, 6 foot tall, 190 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.  Anyone with information is asked to call the Humboldt County Sheriff’s office.
