Two injured dogs that were scheduled to be euthenized were given a new lease on life. Officials from the Humboldt County Animal Shelter and Redwood Pals say several good Samaritans stepped up to the plate and raised over 5-thousand dollars to help fund operations for to local two dogs.

The “Speak Easy Bar” donated 4-thousand of those dollars to help the dogs. Vets did the medical work and now  both dogs are alive and doing well.
