Bicyclist flown to Santa Rosa for injuries suffered in crash Tuesday
A bicyclist has been flown out of the area for treatment after a crash on Harris Avenue in Eureka.
It happened near the intersection of Hubbard Lane on Tuesday evening. Highway patrol officers now say the victim, James Bryan of Eureka, has been flown from St. Joseph Hospital to a hospital in Santa Rosa for his injuries.
Highway patrol officers tell News Channel 3 Bryan suffered a fractured pelvis, and lacerations after he was hit.
Officers say the driver of the Chevy that hit him, William McAllister also of Eureka, didn’t yield to the bike when he turned left.
