Every year over 175-thousand visitors enjoy the Samoa Dunes area and the BLM is holding an open house Monday, February 24th from 6-7:30 pm at their Arcata field office located at 1695 Heindon Road in Arcata. Participants will be asked to share ideas and concerns and recommend specific projects and funding levels that would help increase safety, enjoyment and opportunity in the Samoa Dunes area. The ideas and funding levels would be included in the preliminary grant request.
