ARCATA - A Blue Lake resident was arrested for the second time in one week for possession of heroin. Around 2:30 a.m. Monday morning, Arcata Police approached a suspicious vehicle on the 600 block of Samoa Boulevard. Two male occupants of that vehicle fled on foot but were eventually detained.

Upon investigation, officers found a quarter pound of heroin packaged for sales, methamphetamine, prescription pills, marijuana and concentrated cannabis. Officers arrested 33-year-old, Robert Louis Huntzinger of Blue Lake, on drug possession charges. He was out on bail from a similar arrest last Wednesday. The second male, Willie Jamerson of McKinleyville was also arrested for an outstanding warrant.
