Brookings wants public's help in creating new transportation plan
Brookings - The city of Brookings wants the public's help in shaping a transportation system plan or TSP. Brookings residents are invited to an open house on July 10th from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. and the Chetco Community Public Library. There the project will be introduced and a slide show along with interactive stations set up to allow input for the different components of the future twenty year transportation system plan. Comment cards and surveys will be made available for the public.
Parametrix Engineering will be steering the project and were chosen for their expertise in creating TSP’s for cities of similar size. Brookings has received a state of Oregon Growth Management Rrant of $225,000 to help with the design plan.
