EUREKA- Eureka Police are investigating a burglary at an old town jewelry store early Friday morning. The suspects reportedly broke the window, stole items in the display case and fled in a red sedan.
The burglary occurred at 10 Window Williams Jewelers on 3rd street. According to Eureka Police Public Information Officer, Brittany Kesterson, said an alarm call came from a glass brake at 1:18 a.m. and officers were able to arrive on scene within minutes.
Kesterson said witnesses described seeing an unknown number of suspects flee, broken glass in front of the building and the suspects carrying boxes. No one was detained at the scene and no arrests have been made. Officers are investigating multiple leads she said.
