California Dungeness Crab Season to kick off November 1.

CALIFORNIA - If you’re a lover of all things Dungeness, you’ll be really happy with this news. Crab Season will officially open statewide this Saturday.

Department of Fish and Wildlife officials remind the public that traps and nets for the opener may not be set before 12:01 am on November 1. No one may possess more than ten crabs in a day and all must measure five and three quarter inches across the shell for recreational crabbers.
