The Eureka Chamber of Commerce has announced the annual Rhododendron Parade and Festival will be April 26. In keeping with tradition, the popular event will be held the last Saturday in April starting at 10 am.
Grand Marshal’s of the event will be "achieving local youth" who are part of the Greater Eureka Chamber of Commerce Youth Ambassador Scholarships. In recent years, more than 70-entries have made it from the parade beginning at 7th and F Streets all the way to Henderson Center. Entries have included commercial floats, businesses, equestrian participants, drill teams, club displays and marching bands. Awards will be presented in a variety of categories. Due to generous business and community support, there is no fee for entries received by April 14th. After that date, a $25 entry fee applies.
