Cherms staying home for college soccer

Chris Cherms will continue to stop shots in front of the net just a short distance from the Arcata High School campus. 
 
The Tigers senior captain Tuesday night signed a letter of intent to play next season at Humboldt State. 
 
Cherms was a four-year member of the Arcata soccer program. All four years they reached the North Coast Section playoffs.
 
 
He joins a Lumberjacks team that posted a  6-11-1 record under first year head coach Fred Jungemann.
 
Cherms told us he is excited to play at the next level and for the hometown Jacks…
