EUREKA- A North Coast resident is accusing the city of Eureka for allegedly violating the Brown Act.
Dale Peterson of Eureka has served the city, alleging that the Brown Act was violated when the City Council and the Mayor engaged in serial meetings with regard to the appointment of Alex Stillman, to the North Coast Railroad Authority Board by the Mayor City Selection Committee. Alex Stillman is a long time council member in the city of Arcata.
In response, the Eureka City Council will be holding a special meeting on November 12th. It’s at 1 p.m. at the council chamber on K Street in Eureka.
