City of Fortuna offers free compost

FORTUNA- Just in time for spring, the City of Fortuna will be offering compost for free.

It’s part of their Bio-Solids Management Plan. Quality Class A Compost will be given away for beneficial reuse as a soil amendment to your property or place of residence. Compost will be available beginning Monday, April 14th from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day for as long as the soil holds out. Limitations apply and drivers must have proper tarps for compost transportation. Pick up compost at 180 Dinsmore Drive in Fortuna.  For more information call: 707-725-1476
