EUREKA- Police are investigating leads after a burglary takes place over the weekend in Old Town.
Police responded to the Alirose Botique Clothing Store on the 200 block of F Street early Sunday morning after receiving a report of a possible burglary. Officers found a smashed glass window at the scene that they say was used to gain access to the building. Authorities add there was, “a substantial loss of items,” but police are not confirming what was stolen at this point. No occupants were at the store at the time of the burglary, and police are following up on leads.
"Officers responded within a minute of being dispatched and did not find any suspects in the area, however we do have some leads that we're working on," said Chief Andrew Mills of the Eureka Police Department.
