EUREKA – Community is coming together to help a little girl in need as she battles childhood cancer.

Monday, local business Bev’s Real Kids in Eureka held a bake sale fundraiser for 5-year-old Faith Wrisley and her family of Rio Dell.

This week Faith is undergoing another round of chemotherapy.

During this difficult time, the community is rallying around her and her family to try to help take off some of the financial pressure.

Dozens of people stopped by the sale to donate.

“Everything out here was donated and baked with love,” said Michelle Baily of Bev’s Real Kids, “It’s not about the food. It’s about helping a family that needs it. You don’t ever want to see a mom that has to see their child be sick.”

If you were unable to make it out to the bake sale today, there will still be goodies available at the store on Tuesday.

You can also send donations to Bev’s Real Kids that will be directed to Faith’s mother, Andrea Wrisley.
