Construction resumes on viaduct for Willits Bypass Project following collapse
WILLITS- The expected completion date of the Willits Bypass Project has not changed, even though a portion of the project collapsed last week, injuring 3 workers.
Construction on the one-mile long viaduct has resumed, except for the collapsed portion, which is still being cleaned up. Cal/OSHA authorized construction to resume on the viaduct after gathering the information they needed from the collapse site. The debris is expected to be cleared out by the end of the week, and Flat Iron West Inc. will need to get a construction plan approved by Caltrans before work on the collapsed part of the viaduct can resume. The Willits Bypass Project is still expected to be complete by the fall of 2017.
Do you think the Samoa development project should move forward?
