Convicted felon fires rifle in air, arrested on drug and weapon charges
HOOPA- A man was arrested Tuesday morning in Hoopa when police found a firearm, ammunition and 2 grams of meth inside of his home.
21 year old Cameron Saxon allegedly fired a rifle into the air while intoxicated around 8 a.m. Tuesday in a residential area of Big Hill Road. Saxon is a convicted felon on probation..
During a search of his home, sheriff's deputies found the Ruger Mini 14 rifle with ammunition and methamphetamine. No one was injured during the incident. Saxon was arrested on five charges.
