GARBERVILLE- College of the Redwood's Garberville Instructional site will remain open for the upcoming Fall 2014 semester. The site will offer more lifelong learning and community education courses along with general education classes.
The college's Board of Trustees were considering closing the site down due to decreased enrollment and increased expenses at the site. Community members at multiple meetings encouraged the board to keep the site open.
The classes will be offered for the Fall 2014 semester and will include more partnerships between area businesses, schools and more technical training courses.
