The Arcata Police Department have made one arrest following a crash after a high speed pursuit. The driver fled when police attempted to stop the car after running stolen Montana plates on the vehicle.
According to Arcata Police the vehicle went north onto hwy 101 when police stopped the pursuit due to high speeds and icy road conditions. The car was found on the side of the road with no one inside.
Police received a call from Mad River Hospital that two people had come into the hospital with suspicious injuries. Police responded to the hospital and arrested Jeremy Korte for driving without a license, stolen property and felony evasion.
