Crescent City amends ordinance for alcohol and tobacco retailers
CRESCENT CITY- Two new ordinances and an ordinance extension are going into effect in Crescent City after a council vote last night.
Relating to tobacco and alcohol retailers, the Urgency Zoning Ordinance was amended, to continue restrictions on where those retailers can be located. In addition, two new ordinances that encompass siting and advertisement regulations were introduced. Retailers will be required to have a conditional use permit, plus, they must limit tobacco and alcohol advertisements to 10% of window coverage; below the state restriction of 33%.
