Curry sentenced in 2010 Willow Creek murder
WILLOW CREEK- The man involved in a 2010 Willow Creek murder learned his fate Monday.
Limmie Curry was sentenced to 12 years behind bars for the killing of William Billie Reid and a special allegation of using a weapon. This comes after the defense recently agreed to a plea deal, lowering Curry’s murder charge to voluntary manslaughter.
Reid’s sister was at the court house Monday and said quote: “only someone who is pure evil could think to do that to another person.”
Curry will be paroled after serving 85% of his sentence. The other suspect in the case, Eddie Lee, was acquitted of all charges in October, after the court ruled there was not enough evidence to go to trial.
