David Pedersen pleads guilty in Northwest killing spree
OREGON- The man accused of killing four people, including a Eureka man, during a violent road trip across the Pacific Northwest has pleaded guilty to federal charges.
According to the Associated Press, on Wednesday 33-year-old David “Joey” Pedersen pleaded guilty to two counts of carjacking resulting in death. It all happened in 2011 when Pederson and his alleged accomplice, Holly Ann Grigsby reportedly went on a killing spree. Pedersen is facing federal charges for the death of teenager Cody Myers on the Oregon coast, and the other for the killing of Reginald Clark in Eureka.
Grigsby, and Pedersen were self-proclaimed white supremacists.
A federal indictment alleges Pedersen researched the names and addresses of Jewish organizations in Seattle, Portland and Sacramento to identify potential targets for elimination.
Pederson will be sentenced to life in prison at an August 4th hearing. Holly Ann Grigsby pleaded guilty earlier this year to racketeering charges.
