DEA investigates local money laundering and marijuana operations
EUREKA- Federal agents were in Humboldt and Trinity counties Wednesday serving search warrants on three residences suspected of money laundering and illegal marijuana operations.
The Humboldt County Drug Task Force is assisting U.S. Drug Enforcement Agents in busts at homes on Mill Creek Road in McKinleyville, L. K. Woods Boulevard in Arcata and in Salyer off of State Route 299. No one has been taken into custody so far in connection with those searches. It is undetermined how much marijuana was found at each location. A representative from the DEA said the investigations are ongoing.
