Discovery Museum to close temporary location before reopening at permanent space
EUREKA- A local educational museum for kids is preparing to open at a new and permanent space.
The Discovery Museum has been at the Jefferson Community Center in Eureka since December, because its former location, the Carson Block Building, is being seismically retrofitted. On April 19th, the Discovery Museum will close at the Jefferson Community center and reopen in late spring in its new space on 6th Street and G Street in Eureka. The facility is a Kramer-owned property and is currently being renovated. Museum officials say it’s nearly as big as the former Carson Block Building location.
The Discovery Museum is looking for donations to help with the reopening. To donate, contact Amy Whitlatch with the Discovery Museum using her direct phone number, (707) 443-9696, or the museum email address, email@example.com
